Antique
aircraft, warbirds, and modern day aircraft will perform flybys and be
parked on the ramp for an up-close and personal look. One of the exciting
features of the Pacific Coast Air Museum's (PCAM) "Wings Over Wine
Country" Air Show is the opportunity to touch and feel the awesome
power and might of these historic machines which have meant so much to our
great nation's history. Military flybys inspire
you with their precision and power and some will be on static display when
not in the air. Visitors will have a chance to climb
aboard a jet fighter or walk through an open cargo/transport
plane.

Stuart has never
experienced an airshow like this one! Over 3 1/2 hours of in-air
displays and over 100 planes! You'll be able to see vintage bombers, four
Air Force demo teams with four pilots completing their two-year tour here
in Stuart, plus the "who's who" of the air show circuit - not
once, but twice as three of the five solo acts return to the sky in an
absolutely awesome combined performance as the X Team, another VNA Airshow
first!

The
U.S.
Air Force Thunderbirds
take to the skies over San Antonio Nov. 5-6, 2005, at the Randolph Air Force Base 75th Anniversary Air Show. The event is free and open to the public. Gates hours are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. The U.S. Army’s premier parachute demonstration team, the Golden Knights and Randolph's own Air Education and Training Command West Coast T-6A Texan II Aerial Demonstration Team are the other featured performers both days of the air show. The two-day event commemorates 75 years of training excellence at Randolph. The base was dedicated June 20, 1930. In addition to dozens of current and vintage military and civilian aircraft on display and flying in the skies over Randolph, ground activities will offer something for the entire family to enjoy -- from aircraft simulators and military displays to food and fun throughout the flightline area.
